My Ledbury shirts are here!

I love all my shirts, but this one is my favorite. The Blue and Brown Townsend.

I love all my shirts, but this one is my favorite. The Blue and Brown Townsend.

Nothing beats the excitement of checking the mail and finding a package addressed to you. And when that package contains three Ledbury shirts, it makes it that much sweeter.

It’s no secret that I love Ledbury and it’s no secret why… the collars make the shirt.

I may be over stating this, but the collar on a dress shirt may be the most important part of a man’s outfit. A shirt collar by itself can determine the overall style of the outfit and the man wearing it.

Yes, it is a bit of an overstatement but, the cut and structure of a shirt collar can make a world of difference.

I like my collar to boldly rise above my jacket or sweater.

I absolutely hate when I have to re-adjust the clothing that I’m wearing. Like when a shirt collar collapses into my blazer and I’m constantly pulling it out and propping it up. It drives me crazy.

So when I find a shirt that fits well with a collar that stands firm I have to spread the word.

This is exactly what made me so excited about the arrival of my Ledbury shirts. The collars on Ledbury shirts are incredible! They are designed not to collapse when worn with a jacket. These guys know what they’re doing. I can’t say enough about them.

Here’s what I got from Ledbury this month:

By the way, there was an article in the Wall Street Journal yesterday about dress shirt collars. It’s worth a look if you have an online subscription to WSJ.
